Mission

Humanitas exists to help ensure that as the world advances, our humanity does not fall behind.

We are building a body of public work focused on human development in an age shaped by rapid technological change.

Why this matters

Technology is reshaping work, relationships, education, and daily life at extraordinary speed. The question is not only what becomes possible, but what kinds of people, institutions, and societies we are becoming in the process. As work is displaced and traditional sources of identity weaken, the crisis of meaning and purpose is likely to deepen.

Humanitas is focused on the qualities that make humane societies possible: judgement, compassion, responsibility, connection, moral seriousness, and the capacity for meaning and purpose.
